Software Developer - SAAS Web Application -LAMP

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver new features to the EADOC application. This can range from developing small new feature sets to building complete new modules.
  • Developing and maintain back end internal systems
  • Integrating 3rd party applications via XML/SOAP and flat file

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience developing web based applications on LAMP
  • Development Skills: PHP, AJAX, DHTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Extensive experience with relational database design and management
  • Experience developing standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible sites
  • Strong understanding of developing secured applications inside secured hardware software environments.
  • Comfortable with *nix server environments, vi, and command line usage

Additional Plus

  • Experience with version control (CVS and Subversion)
  • Network administration

  • Independent- You will be give projects to complete with a minimum amount of direction
  • Thorough- Quality is paramount, our clients have very little patience with bugs and do not accept poorly written code

Sales Account Manager

EADOC is looking for motivated sales people to join our rapidly growing company.

We are looking for energetic and motivated sales to grow EADOC. We have established a strong presence along the US West Coast and are looking to expand across the United States. Our target clients are public and private facility owners and Construction Management firms with large capitol improvement projects and programs. There will be tremendous opportunities for you to grow with the company into a possible VP of Sales role as you prove your selling ability.

Experience:

Your experience should include several years working for or with public or private facility owners on capitol projects as a project engineer, superintendent, or project manager. Strong computer skills and understanding of the Internet and associated technologies is important. Having worked with some of our competitors products like Primavera Expedition, Meridian Systems Prolog or Autodesk Constructware is a big bonus. Previous sales experience is a bonus as long as it is with a startup company. This job is not for Enterprise Software sales people that are used to working in a large corporate environment and have never worked for a startup.

Responsibilities:

It is very important that you are a self starter as you will be developing an entire sales territory for a new company. You will need to identify leads, cold call into them, perform web demonstrations and close the deals. You will also be responsible for networking in your local area, using your knowledge of the construction industry to attend events and grow EADOC's presence in your territory. You must be a strong self starter, organized and very disciplined as you will be working from home.

Locations:

  • North East- New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts

Telecommute, some travel. You should live in the North East close to major cities like New York or Boston. 75% of your deals you will close over the web. For larger deals you will need to do some onsite presentations. Also you should plan on identifying networking opportunities within your territory and attending those events.

Compensation:

This job is full time. This position provides a base salary + Bonus + commission. Compensation also includes medical, dental and PTO

Customer Service Representative

EADOC is revolutionizing the construction industry with a fast, secure, easy to use web based project management application for managing capital projects. EADOC allows Facility owners and construction managers to exchange project information like drawings, submittals, rfis and pay requests electronically with their contractors, architects, and consultants. EADOC delivers tremendous cost saving to our clients by eliminating the error prone paperwork that causes so many delays and cost over runs on commercial/industrial construction projects. Our clients range from small cities and counties to large international Engineering firms.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated customer support representative to help grow our company.

Your job will encompass:

  • Configuring the EADOC application for new clients
  • Training new clients on the EADOC application
  • Resolving client support requests
  • Review client enhancement request before they go to engineering
  • Be a customer advocate on our end user testing team to make sure the application exceeds the client requirements

Experience:

Your experience should include several years working for software companies as a trainer or customer support rep. Strong computer experience with web meetings and providing web presentations is very helpful as 90% of the training will be done over the web. You need to be very energetic and posses excellent communication skills.

OR

Several years working inside the construction industry as a document controls person, project engineer, or project manager.

Strong computer skills and understanding of the Internet and associated technologies is important.

We have just passed the 2 year mark and are looking for energetic people to join our team that have a do what it takes mentality to get the job done. We are profitable and growing quickly.

Location:

This position is at our Oakland, CA office located directly above the 12th St Bart Station.

Compensation:

This job is full time. This position provides a base salary($48k-$60k/year with MBO component) Compensation also includes medical/dental and PTO.
