Inside Sales Position
The Position
EADOC is looking for an energetic and motivated sales person to help grow our company. We have established a strong presence along the US West Coast and are looking to expand across the United States
Our target clients are public and private facility owners and Construction Management firms with large capitol improvement projects. We are growing rapidly and looking to expand. There will be tremendous opportunities for you to grow with the company into a possible VP of Sales role as you prove your selling ability.

EADOC allows Facility owners and construction managers to exchange project information like drawings, submittals, rfis and pay requests electronically with their contractors, architects, and consultants. Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years successfully selling software or services into the AEC(Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Industry.
- Bachelors Degree from a 4-Year University Required
- Prior high volume cold calling experience a plus.
- Energetic, positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills and understanding of the Internet and associated technologies is important.
- Having worked with some of our competitors products like Primavera Expedition, Meridian Systems Prolog or Autodesk Constructware is a big bonus.
Responsibilities
It is very important that you are a self starter as you will be developing new sales territory .
You will need to identify leads, cold call into them, perform web demonstrations and close the deals.
You must be a strong self starter, organized and very disciplined.
Location
EADOC headquarters in downtown Oakland. Located directly above the 12th St/City Center Bart Station.
Compensation
This job is full time. This position provides a base salary + a very high commission. Benefits include medical and PTO

Customer Service Representative
EADOC is revolutionizing the construction industry with a fast, secure, easy to use web based project management software for managing capital projects. Our clients range from small cities and counties to large international Engineering firms.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated customer support representative to help grow our company.
Your job will encompass
- Configuring the EADOC application for new clients
- Training new clients on the EADOC application
- Resolving client support requests
- Review client enhancement request before they go to engineering
- Be a customer advocate on our end user testing team to make sure the application exceeds the client requirements
Experience
Your experience should include several years working for software companies as a trainer or customer support rep. Strong computer experience with web meetings and providing web presentations is very helpful as 90% of the training will be done over the web. You need to be very energetic and posses excellent communication skills.
OR
Several years working inside the construction industry as a document controls person, project engineer, or project manager.
Strong computer skills and understanding of the Internet and associated technologies is important.

Software Developer - SAAS Web Application - LAMP
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop and Deliver new features and functionality to the EADOC application.
- Using PHP, AJAX, Javascript, HTML and mySQL you will design and build new components to improve the EADOC application. This will also include integrating 3rd party applications via XML/SOAP and flat file.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other engineering field
- 2-5 years of experience developing web based applications based on the LAMP stack
- Experience building rich internet application using PHP, AJAX, DHTML, CSS, Javascript
- Extensive experience with relational database design and management, developing well-architected, maintainable, easily readable code
- Experience developing standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible sites
- Strong understanding of developing secured applications inside secured hardware software environments
Additional Plus
- Eclipse development using PDT and XDebug
- Experience with version control (CVS and Subversion)
- Experience working with javascript libraries including jQuery, dojo, etc
- Experience working with multiple VMs

Linux Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
- Configure servers and software to manage site infrastructure
- Monitor site stability and performance
- Troubleshoot site issues
- Ensure system and network security
- Participate in 24/7 on-call response by phone and email
- Develop custom tools as necessary
- Document system design and procedures
Qualifications
- Linux expert (specifically Ubuntu, Debian)
- Web server configuration and optimization (Apache)
- Mail servers and protocols (Exim, Sendmail, SMTP)
- Ability to write scripts in bash
- Load-balancing and high-availability
- Database and file system backup and recovery (Mysql, Conitnuent Tungsten)
