Tough economy is driving a tremendous wave of agencies to go digital in the AEC industry
As the Director of Engineering for a sanitary district said it, “Contractors and engineers want to do everything electronically with us, we have to stop wasting time and money pushing paper that provides no value to our district and our customers”.
- Public agencies face shrinking tax revenues requiring them to reduce project costs while increasing accountability.
- Designers and contractors face shrinking margins from fierce competition requiring them to provide increased value to their clients.
- Private owners face one of the tightest credit markets in history forcing them to reduce costs and risks on their projects.
All of these players are looking at technology to help them deliver more for less. Combining today's challenging economy with advanced software and hardware solutions designed for managing capital projects has created the pressure to push everyone away from the paper age and into the digital project. New Customers Corner
The following customers have recently selected EADOC to improve project control and decrease project costs:
City of Englewood, CO selected EADOC for the SCT Air Pipe and Storm Water projects at the Littleton/Englewood WWTP.
City of Oakland, CA and McGuire and Hester are using EADOC to manage the $30M 12th St. reconstruction project.
Ecologic along with Fairfield Suisun Sewer District selected EADOC's project management application to manage the district's UV Disinfection project.
City of Gresham, OR has deployed EADOC to manage the WWTP process improvements, College Pump Station Replacement, and the WWTP Administration Building Rehab Phase 2 projects.
North Tahoe Public Utility District is using EADOC to manage their 2010/2011 CIP program.
Provo River Water Users Association selected EADOC for the $130M Provo Reservoir Canal Enclosure Project.
Mowat Construction and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation deployed EADOC on the $20M Weber Siphon project in Washington State.
New Features
New financial report filters available
We have added a new filter toolbar to the PCO, Change Order, and Pay Estimate summaries within the finance module. These new filters will allow users to filter the results based on date, project phase, and project status. The filter options can be expanded by the user as needed.
New Report fields available
The following report fields are now available for document reports: Calendar Days Outstanding, Working Days Outstanding, Calendar Days Until Approved, and Working Days Until Approved. These fields will allow users to select the appropriate columns for their reports based on how they track days outstanding on their project.
Quick Tips
Clicking on “Finances” on the dashboard links to detailed information.
Users can click on any of the dollars displayed on their dashboard financial summaries to be taken directly to the details. For example, clicking on the budget amount will take the user to the budget summary for their current project.
